About Us
Beaconsfield Pistol Club is situated at Kenilworth Road, Beaconsfield (Ref to Location) in a bush setting between the Pakenham train line and the Berwick bypass. Beaconsfield Pistol Club was formed originally in 1959 shortly after the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne.
Beaconsfield Pistol Club is the third oldest pistol club in Victoria and is affiliated with the Victorian Amateur Pistol Association (VAPA), Pistol Australia (PA) and the International Sports Shooting Federation (ISSF). These bodies in various ways govern our sport, produce rules for pistol matches and authorise our existence with statutory Government Departments.
The club offers pistol shooting at distances of 10m, 25m and 50m. The club caters for all level of shooters. The facilities include 2 outdoor shooting ranges, a 10 bay indoor air pistol range and a clubhouse. Members are welcome to use the ranges for target shooting practice and weekly competitions.
The Beaconsfield Pistol Club is a non-profit organisation, run by volunteers for the benefit of the membership; with a Committee elected to oversee the functioning of the Club.
Beaconsfield Pistol Club is a family friendly club which allows children under the age of 12 within the club rooms. These children must be under direct supervision of a parent or guardian while onsite.
